Every once in a while, something lands on our cutting table that makes the whole shop slow down. Originally produced for a very high-end shoe company, this side-out brown suede is the kind of leather you feel before you fully see it. Quietly confident. Heritage without trying. The smell is pure Horween intoxication, and the hand feel, yes, we’re proudly using that funny industry term, is borderline ridiculous. Soft yet substantial. The kind of grip that makes you reach for the top handle even when you don’t need to go anywhere. Fair warning: you may find yourself holding it longer than necessary. Just try not to forget you’re carrying it and accidentally bring it into the shower. We have a completely unscientific internal scale for how good something feels in the hand. This one destroyed it.

We received very little of this leather. Once these are claimed, that’s the end of this particular suede. No backorders. No rediscovering a hidden roll. Just a fleeting run of Mr. Grippers that turns carrying your DEFY into something more tactile, more personal, and unmistakably elevated.

Attach one and you’ll understand immediately. Some things are meant to be carried.
