Some leather feels calm the moment you pick it up.
These Desert Sky Mr. Grippers are cut from a beautiful run of Horween Shell Cordovan in a darker sand tone that immediately puts you somewhere wide open. Subtle darker variations drift across the shell like the last light stretching across desert ground at sunset. The colors move gently through the leather, shifting from warm sand to deeper dusk tones depending on how the light hits it.
It has a slightly trippy quality to it. Peaceful. Quiet. Like standing out in the desert as the sky fades from gold to deep evening blue.
This particular shell is also thick and incredibly substantial, the kind of Horween leather that feels dense, smooth, and reassuring in the hand. Built the way shell cordovan is meant to be built. Strong, enduring, and only getting better with time.
We only managed to make 2 of these, and like any good sunset, no two are exactly the same.
