Hello. I’m Mr. Ink.

I didn’t come out of the Horween tannery looking neat and predictable like the other shells. Somewhere along the way things got a little… expressive. Dark splotches, wandering streaks, inky shadows that move across the surface like someone left me alone in the lab with a bottle of dye and a curious mind. You should see my 3 brothers. We all came out a little different, but you can definitely tell we went through the same strange experiment.

I’m an inverted Horween Shell Cordovan Mr. Gripper, which means I’ve got that slightly suede-like feel with the kind of density and toughness that shell is famous for. I may look like an abstract painting, but don’t get it twisted. I’m built to wrap around your bag handle and live a very long, very interesting life.

There are only 4 of us.
